INORA Activities Compatible to Organic Farming Systems
The techniques, which are well proved and effective in organic systems, are
Green Manures
Bio-fertilizers
Bio-pesticides
Role of Certification in Organic Farming
Bio-filtration of gray-water for recycling in agriculture
Vermicomposting of agro-refuse for recycling back for soil health improvement
Biological control agents
Botanical –Human and plant pest repelling extracts.
1] Inora bio fertilisers & agriculturally important microbes production
We have plant and machinery for production of upto200MT per annum of Bio-fertilizers like
Phosphorus-solubilising microbes,
Symbiotic and Non-symbiotic nitrogen fixing microbes,
Lignin's and Cellulose decomposition microbes,
These microbes are cultured in lab conditions, mounted on inert carrier materials like Lignite, Bentonite , Talc etc, dpackaged and distributed in Agri-Markets.
2] Inora Bio-pesticides production
Microbes like Bacteria ,Fungi and Viruses are known to have controlling effects on various pests, diseases and weeds in agricultural systems. These Bio-pesticide agents are produced and marketed by INORA.
3] Microbes and soil testing facility
Soil chemical and biological fertilities are checked in these facilities. Major thrust area, for research and development activity of INORA, is Earthworm Biotechnology & worm composting which is an integral part of organic farming systems .
4] Training,
Extension, Awareness Programs
INORA conducts training programs in
Organic farming - LOW EXTERNAL INPUT FARMING.
Bio fertilizers.
Bio pesticides.
Earthworm Bio technologies & Vermicomposting.
City farming.
Organic system certification.
5]
Organic Farming Systems Certification and
Consultation.
6]
Organic Gardening and Urban- Farming for urban
residents and areas with special emphasis on
biodegradable waste composting and integrating
with gardening.
7]
Distillation of botanical plant parts for production of
pest repelling agents.
8]
Culturing of Bio-control insects –
In sectary.
9]
Turn-key projects in Composting of bio-refuse for
production of composts and manures.
